I've heard that it's possible to record from a pc directly onto a vhs tape but i have no clue how it's done. Can anyone recommend some accessible software for me to try? Can I record from dvds as well as from stored video files on the computer? What about live streams? What kinds of ports, connectors and cables will I need to have/buy? What kind of vcr is best for this, two-head, four-head, regular oor highfi etc? Is it true that recording at a normal instead of a longplaying or extended playing speed reduces the ware and tare on a tape and that buying ones that are shorter in length (two hours versus eight, for example), is better?
